DB Pricing Actuary

Our client is seeking an experienced Actuarial professional to join their Defined Benefit (DB) Pricing team at an exciting time of growth, as they continue their journey to become the UK's most loved retirement expert. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in reviewing and delivering new business quotations, managing projects, and driving initiatives that enhance efficiency, innovation, and technical excellence.

You'll develop a deep understanding of the systems and tools used within DB Pricing, working proactively to identify improvements and integrate technology into daily processes. Collaboration is at the heart of this role - you'll work closely with colleagues across Reinsurance and Commercial teams to deliver market-leading propositions, while promoting a culture of engagement, curiosity, and continuous learning within the team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and actuarial knowledge, particularly around bulk annuity pricing principles, along with solid numeracy and IT skills. Experience in pensions, insurance, or finance is highly desirable, as is familiarity with coding languages such as Julia, Python, or VBA. A 2:1 or higher in a mathematical or technical discipline and FIA qualification (or equivalent) are preferred.
