Technical Delivery Manager - Cards

A regional financial institution is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of cards technology initiatives. This role oversees system development, integration, and deployment across core cards platforms, ensuring delivery excellence, compliance, and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cards technology projects from design to production roll-out, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, testing, and implementation.
• Manage vendors, budgets, and dependencies across multiple project streams.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and L3 support for cards systems and related applications.

Requirements

• 10+ years in technology delivery, with strong experience in cards systems and large-scale transformation
• At least 5 years of team leadership experience managing IT delivery teams within the cards domain.
• Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Knowledge of cards platforms (e.g., mainframe systems, payment gateways, 3D Secure, or loyalty solutions).
• Familiarity with development on mainframe and distributed platforms, including COBOL, CICS, and API-based architectures.
