Overview
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Production Underwriter to help grow a portfolio focused on sports, entertainment, and special events across the United States. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys balancing analytical underwriting discipline with strategic relationship building.
The successful candidate will evaluate complex risks, negotiate terms, and partner with brokers nationwide to deliver creative insurance solutions for everything from professional tournaments and concerts to one-time festivals and exhibitions.

What You'll Do
  • Assess and price risks for new and renewal business within sports and entertainment segments, ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines and profitability targets.
  • Structure customized coverage for a wide range of clients - from small community events to large-scale national productions.
  • Build and sustain broker relationships, acting as a responsive and consultative point of contact throughout the submission and quoting process.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying emerging opportunities, cross-sell potential, and regional expansion prospects.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand presence and build trust with market partners.
  • Maintain disciplined underwriting files with thorough documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Who You Are
  • An experienced commercial underwriter with 5+ years of underwriting expertise - ideally in sports, entertainment, or special events.
  • Knowledgeable about U.S. insurance market practices, coverage wordings, and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable negotiating terms and pricing with brokers while maintaining strong profitability.
  • A self-directed professional who can balance analytical judgment with client-focused business development.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and common industry platforms.
  • Holds or is eligible for a U.S. underwriting or broker license (preferred).
