Reserving Actuary

Join a leading Lloyd's & company market carrier as a Reserving Actuary, taking ownership of first-line reserving across multiple legal entities and influencing senior stakeholders across the group.

What you'll be doing

• Lead quarterly reserving activity across specialty portfolios, delivering analysis, insights and recommendations to senior management and group teams.

• Build and enhance reserving processes, tools and controls to support first-line reserving and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with underwriting, reporting, and central reserving teams globally - presenting results, influencing methodology, and supporting performance deep-dives.

What you'll bring

• Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent) or equivalent experience within GI reserving.

• Strong technical reserving expertise and ability to explain results to non-actuarial stakeholders.

• Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large datasets.
