Financial Modeller - FP&A

Eames are exclusively partnering with a well known transport group to hire a Financial Modeller within their Group FP&A team.

The role will be working primarily with the UK bid team on the production of commercial tenders and bids. You will produce large and complex models for tenders, as well as supporting the wider group with financial analysis on ad-hoc projects.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling: Design, build, update, and maintain complex financial models, ensuring all submissions meet client and audit standards within required timescales.
• Financial Analysis: Produce financial analysis and perform scenario/investment appraisals to support the Bid Director and senior management decision-making.
• Documentation & Compliance: Own the production of all supporting documentation, including operating manuals and for all financial projections.
• Project Support: Work with operational teams on financial impact assessments and support non-bid projects such as M&A and performance improvement initiatives.
• Expertise: Maintain current knowledge of relevant financial, accounting, and regulatory developments.

Person Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
• Excellent excel skills and financial modelling experience
• Understanding of project appraisal techniques
• Experience of bidding / tenders (ideally within the transport / infrastructure sector)
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
