GenAI and Innovation Lead

Role Overview:

Lead the design, development, and operational implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions across the organization. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of delivering AI projects at scale, ensuring seamless integration into business processes and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of generative AI projects, from concept through production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Directly oversee cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers, driving daily operations and removing roadblocks to progress.
• Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-scale AI platforms with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.
• Translate strategic AI initiatives into concrete project plans, detailed technical designs, and executable workflows.
• Implement best practices in AI model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to prioritize use cases, define success metrics, and ensure AI solutions drive measurable business impact.
• Lead hands-on problem resolution and performance optimization of deployed AI models and applications.
• Foster a culture of high accountability, agile delivery, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the AI team.
• Manage vendor relationships and cloud infrastructure for AI workloads, optimizing costs and technical capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with AI ethics, data privacy, and governance policies through practical enforcement and monitoring standards.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in machine learning, generative AI models, NLP, and AI platform engineering.
• Proven ability to lead and execute complex AI initiatives, with 5+ years managing technology delivery teams in AI/ML contexts.
• Demonstrated success in hands-on AI solution implementation, from prototype through scalable production systems.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and large language models.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on practical delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly to both technical and business audiences.
