Reserving Manager

Our client, a Lloyd's Syndicate, is looking to make a hire in their reserving department for someone to take a lead and develop junior members of the team. This is a great role for an individual who wants a fast paced environment and who likes to think outside of the box.

In this role you will be working on multiple lines of business and getting involved in quarterly reserving exercises. Other responsibilities include deep dive reviews, utilising data science techniques to help with delivering best in class reserving processes, ownership of results and assumptions, providing input to the business planning process, and also supporting the Head of Reserving on internal and external reporting requirements.

For this role they are keen to speak to FIA Qualified Actuaries who have a background in reserving and ideally an interest in data science. You must be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and have prior success in managing small teams.
