Interim Head of Claims (Personal Lines)

Head of Claims (Personal Lines), Interim, flexible day rate, 3-9 months

Eames is currently working with a personal lines insurer seeking an experienced interim Head of Claims to provide senior leadership and stability during a period of organisational transition. The assignment is expected to run for a minimum of three months, with potential to extend to six months or longer depending on business needs.

The primary focus will be hands-on oversight of Third Party Administrators, including performance management, audit activity, and due diligence for onboarding new partners. This expertise is essential. Additional experience in large loss handling and preparing claims-focused reports for senior committees or boards would be advantageous, though not required.

The ideal candidate will bring strong personal lines experience, particularly across motor ancillary and warranty-style products. This role requires someone confident in leading a claims function, managing external partners, and maintaining high governance standards in a fast-moving environment.
