The Business

A multi-disciplinary group with a current turnover of c.£20m.

Growth will be delivered through a mix of:

• Strategic M&A
• Continued organic growth
• Strong commercial foundations with accurate, transparent reporting (operating on Xero)

The Role

As FD, you will be the financial heartbeat of the organisation - hands-on, commercially sharp, and deeply involved in both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategy. This is not a "sit-back and advise" role; it's an opportunity to run the finances end-to-end and shape the financial future of a business entering its most exciting chapter.

You will work closely with the MD, CEO, Non-Exec Chair and wider leadership team, taking full ownership of the group's financial performance, reporting, and growth modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, own and elevate all financial operations across the group
• Provide clear commercial insight to support growth and acquisition strategy
• Build scalable finance processes and controls fit for a multi-entity environment
• Lead financial due diligence and integration for potential acquisitions
• Develop forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking across all units
• Manage, mentor and develop a growing finance team
• Partner with senior creative and client-facing leaders to improve margin, pricing, and delivery performance
• Act as a cultural leader - visible, collaborative, and trusted across the business

About You

We're looking for a Finance Director with the presence, pace, and commercial instinct to thrive in a creative environment:

• Experience within the agency world (marketing, PR, integrated, digital or creative)
• Ideally, previous exposure to PE-backed or high-growth environments
• Exceptional communicator who can bring clarity, challenge and influence
• Hands-on operator who's equally comfortable in the weeds and at Board level
• Strong cultural fit: open, collaborative, grounded, and able to build strong relationships across all creative and commercial teams
