Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

Our client seeks a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to enhance their Cyber Defence team. This role involves gathering and assessing threat data, producing insights on risks, and supporting proactive security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect intelligence from open sources, feeds, and internal logs to track emerging threats and actors.
• Analyse threat patterns, tactics, techniques, and indicators of compromise to forecast potential attacks.
• Produce reports, briefings, and profiles on adversaries, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with incident response, SOC, and engineering teams to prioritise risks and refine defences.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years in threat intelligence, analysis, or cybersecurity, with experience using platforms like MISP, ThreatConnect, or SIEM tools.
• Proficiency in OSINT, malware review, network protocols, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Certifications such as GCTI, CCTIA, or CREST preferred, with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
