Our client seeks a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to enhance their Cyber Defence team. This role involves gathering and assessing threat data, producing insights on risks, and supporting proactive security measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect intelligence from open sources, feeds, and internal logs to track emerging threats and actors.
- Analyse threat patterns, tactics, techniques, and indicators of compromise to forecast potential attacks.
- Produce reports, briefings, and profiles on adversaries, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with incident response, SOC, and engineering teams to prioritise risks and refine defences.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years in threat intelligence, analysis, or cybersecurity, with experience using platforms like MISP, ThreatConnect, or SIEM tools.
- Proficiency in OSINT, malware review, network protocols, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as GCTI, CCTIA, or CREST preferred, with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
