The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise security tools and platforms, ensuring the bank's infrastructure and systems remain resilient against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of security tools and technologies across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of security tools - including deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance - to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, operations, and incident response teams to support new initiatives and integrations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen the bank's cyber defence posture.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and deployment guides.
  • Provide L2/L3 technical support and work with vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and scalability of security operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in cyber security engineering or infrastructure security roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security tools such as EDR, SIEM, PAM, DLP, vulnerability management, or network security platforms.
  • Proven background in system and tool deployment, configuration management, and troubleshooting in large-scale or regulated environments.
  • Sound understanding of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices.
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical teams.

If you are a proactive security professional with a strong technical foundation and an interest in driving cyber resilience within a leading bank, we would like to hear from you.
