Finance System Lead

We are seeking an experienced Finance System Lead to steer the organisation's suite of finance-related digital platforms. In this leadership role, you will oversee the strategy, enhancement, and operational excellence of our finance systems environment, working closely with various business units to deliver robust, efficient, and future-ready solutions.

What You Will Be Working On

• Lead the development, deployment, and optimisation of finance systems, including SAP, Workday, and custom-built applications.
• Oversee system performance, upgrades, integrations, and user support to maintain smooth operations and a strong user experience.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and champion continuous improvement in finance processes.
• Manage finance system initiatives; covering project scoping, budgeting, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure system activities comply with internal governance standards and relevant digital policies.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance systems team, fostering innovation, capability building, and service excellence.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience managing finance systems, with strong expertise in SAP, Workday, ERP environments, and custom application development.
• Demonstrated success delivering system implementation or enhancement projects.
• Strong background in system operations, application maintenance, and end-user support.
• Experience contributing to or overseeing development of bespoke software for finance functions.
• Solid understanding of financial processes such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, financial controls, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Adaptability and a desire to stay updated on emerging finance technologies and industry trends.
• Exposure to corporate systems such as HR or procurement platforms is beneficial but not essential.
