Pricing Actuary

Pricing that influences negotiations, not just spreadsheets.

A specialist Lloyd's insurer is strengthening its actuarial pricing capability and is seeking a Pricing Actuary to support complex, high-value portfolios across political risk and specialty lines.

This is a highly commercial, front-office role where pricing insight directly supports underwriting strategy, broker discussions, and portfolio performance.

The role:

• Deliver account-level pricing, benchmark reviews, and portfolio analysis for specialist lines

• Partner closely with underwriters on broker negotiations and deal support

• Monitor portfolio performance and recalibrate models as risk profiles evolve

• Develop new pricing insight, MI, and visualisation to enhance decision-making

Your background:

• General insurance pricing experience within London Market or specialty lines

• Strong technical skills (Excel/VBA essential; Python/R/SQL advantageous)

• Commercially minded actuary or analyst with confident stakeholder engagement
