Reserving & Capital Actuary

We're working with a leading run-off insurer who are looking to hire a Reserving & Capital Actuary to join their UK Actuarial team.

This is a great opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified actuary with around 3-4 years' reserving experience to work across a broad portfolio of legacy business. Any capital modelling experience would be a strong bonus.

The role has high visibility across the business, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders including the C-suite- ideal for someone looking to build their commercial and business partnering skillset.

Key highlights:

• Manage and support reserving across a diverse range of legacy classes
• Exposure to Solvency II capital modelling and projections
• Work closely with claims, finance and senior leadership
• Strong focus on stakeholder engagement and business partnering

Requirements:

• Nearly or newly qualified P&C actuary
• 3-4 years' reserving experience
• Capital experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Salary: Up to £100,000
