Capital Modelling Consultant

A global (re)insurance consultancy is expanding its Capital Modelling & Risk Technology team in London. This is a hands-on consulting role for actuaries who want their coding and modelling skills front and centre, working on modern capital solutions for insurers and reinsurers.

Key Responsibilties:

• Design, build and implement capital modelling solutions for insurers and reinsurers.

• Translate client requirements into robust, scalable modelling systems.

• Lead development workstreams and support clients using proprietary platforms.

• Contribute to proof-of-concepts and pre-sales activity for advanced modelling tools.

Qualifications:

• General insurance actuarial experience (capital, pricing or reserving).

• Strong coding capability (Python / SQL highly desirable).

• Curious, commercially minded, and comfortable working directly with clients.
