A leading UK insurer is hiring a Schemes Sector Lead to own, grow and shape a high-performing MGA portfolio. This is a senior leadership role for an underwriting-led operator who knows how to balance selection, scale and performance, and can lead teams through growth with clarity and conviction.

Key Responsibilties:

• Own underwriting, performance and portfolio strategy across an MGA sector.

• Lead and develop MGA underwriters and analysts, setting clear standards and direction.

• Drive profitable growth through deal selection, reviews and loss ratio management.

• Act as a senior internal and external representative with brokers and partners.

Qualifications:

• Proven MGA/DA/Coverholder experience (operator or senior oversight).

• Strong underwriting judgement with analytical depth.

• Credible leader, comfortable influencing at senior levels.
