An established UK workplace pensions business is looking for a qualified Pricing Actuary to join its DC & Workplace Savings team, working at the heart of commercial decision-making.

This role sits close to senior leadership and plays a key part in shaping pricing strategy, balancing profitability, growth, customer value and regulatory expectations in a fast-evolving pensions market.

The role

  • Deliver BAU and bespoke pricing for bundled workplace pension schemes

  • Own and enhance commercial pricing models, strategies and governance

  • Work closely with Distribution to ensure pricing supports wider growth strategy

  • Provide commercial and actuarial insight across the DC business (including illustrations)

  • Produce, challenge and interpret pricing MI to drive better decisions

  • Identify pricing risks and potential customer harm, ensuring fair value outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Qualified actuary

  • Strong experience in pricing, commercial modelling or actuarial analysis

  • Solid understanding of DC/workplace pensions and the wider pensions market

  • Ability to translate technical analysis into clear, non-technical insights

  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable challenging and influencing senior leaders

  • Commercial mindset with a strong customer-outcomes lens

Why this role stands out

  • High visibility with senior stakeholders

  • Strategic influence over pricing and growth

  • Genuine balance between commercial objectives and customer fairness

  • Broad remit beyond pure pricing, with exposure across the DC business

If you're a commercially minded actuary looking to move closer to strategy and decision-making in workplace pensions, this is a role worth exploring.
