Senior Underwriter – Delegated Authority / Program Business

Eames are working with a leading specialty insurer who are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their Delegated Authority / Program team.

This role sits within a growing platform focused on partnering with MGAs and delegated authority businesses, with responsibility for evaluating, onboarding and managing a portfolio of programs across Financial Lines, Surety and wider Specialty classes. The position will involve assessing new opportunities from MGAs and brokers, reviewing profitability and structure and working closely with internal teams to deliver and optimise underwriting performance. There is also an expectation to remain technically hands-on and able to flex across multiple lines where required.

This is a highly visible opportunity offering strong exposure to portfolio-level decision making, with the chance to play a key role in building out underwriting processes and infrastructure within a scaling business. The successful individual will have the autonomy to manage relationships, influence strategy and contribute to the continued growth of the platform.
