Senior Underwriter - Property Major Accounts

Eames are currently partnered with a leading global insurer who are looking to hire a Senior Underwriter - Property Major Accounts to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing, well established division focused on complex large-scale risks with a strong track record of profitability and continued growth.

This role is responsible for delivering profitable growth by underwriting complex major property risks within your authority while supporting wider team development and collaborating across the business. You will play a key role in driving both new and retained business through strong broker and client relationships while ensuring underwriting integrity disciplined risk selection and adherence to regulatory and performance standards.

You will also contribute to underwriting strategy portfolio management and forecasting as well as take an active role in maintaining underwriting quality through peer review and oversight. The position offers exposure to multinational risks and the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across European and global teams.

This would suit an experienced Underwriter who is comfortable delivering an above-market service has an established broker network and is keen to contribute beyond BAU underwriting including mentoring leadership and broader business initiatives.

We’re looking to speak with individuals who have significant experience underwriting complex property risks across UK and international markets a strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to operate with autonomy and commercial judgement. ACII qualification (or equivalent) is expected.
