Matthew’s journey began in insurance—he trained as a Lloyd’s underwriter before moving into recruitment in 1998, where he quickly rose to become a top-performing consultant. In 2002, he founded Eames Consulting, later expanding to launch Eames Partnership and ECMS, each brand reflecting his belief in the power of expertise and specialisation.
Today, Matthew leads Eames Group’s global strategy and growth, with teams in London, New York City, Philadelphia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. Eames Group has grown to more than 130 people, delivering recruitment, executive search, and advisory-led managed services to businesses of all sizes.
At the heart of Matthew’s leadership is a passion for creating opportunity.
