A leading UK insurer is seeking an Actuarial Pricing Manager to join its Pricing team, focusing on Motor Personal Lines and SME portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative, datadriven environment.

You will play a key role in delivering highquality pricing insight helping to monitor portfolio performance and drive improvements. The role offers exposure across pricing analysis, portfolio monitoring, new deals, and stakeholder engagement.

The Role -

  • Deliver robust, highquality pricing analysis using a variety of datasets to support delegated authority partners
  • Monitor portfolio performance, developing and maintaining dashboards used by senior stakeholders
  • Forecast and communicate emerging trends and performance insights
  • Drive process and system improvements, embedding efficiency and innovation
  • Build strong relationships across underwriting, claims, reserving, finance and external partners
  • Contribute to a strong datadriven culture with clear, confident communication
  • Apply and develop technical pricing expertise, including tools such as SQL, R and Power BI
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, with potential line management responsibility

The Candidate -

  • Experience within General Insurance actuarial pricing
  • Strong numerical, analytical and financial skills
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
  • Comfortable working with tools such as SQL, R, Power BI and MS Office
  • Working towards or recently qualified as an actuary (preferred)

Location: London (hybrid working)

Salary: Up to £110,000 + bonus + benefits
