Finance Director

This is a high-impact role suited for a commercially minded finance professional with strong technical grounding and proven experience operating in complex, multinational environments. The role will work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in driving financial performance, governance, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance functions including accounting, financial reporting, tax, compliance, and treasury
• Oversee full set of accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow management
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights on business performance and profitability
• Manage financial reporting and consolidation in accordance with group and regulatory requirements
• Ensure strong internal controls, governance, and compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks
• Lead external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Partner with business stakeholders to drive cost optimisation and support strategic initiatives
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and funding requirements
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, including Board and investors
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team

Requirements

• Minimum 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong track record in leadership roles
• Proven experience managing full-spectrum finance functions within multinational or complex environments
• Prior exposure to private equity-backed businesses is highly advantageous
• Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, FP&A, and cash flow management
• Solid understanding of tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements within Southeast Asia (Indonesia experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including Board members and investors
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA is strongly preferred
• Background in Big Four audit or equivalent is a plus
• Industry preference - infrastructure, technology, data centres, or asset-heavy industries
