I am an Partner &amp; Director on the actuarial team, specialising in recruiting mid-to-senior talent within the Lloyd&rsquo;s, London Market and personal lines space, including part-qualified roles up to head of departments.
I was attracted to the actuarial market in 2017 due to it being a niche and specialised market. This has allowed me to build out an established network and be able to understand my client&rsquo;s and candidate's needs, ask the right questions and deliver on both sides.
Not every candidate conversation has to be about being put forward for roles, I can add value by giving candidates the opportunity to know more about salaries, in-demand skills, and also current trends such as flexibility in working arrangements.
​I ensure my service is reliable and transparent. I work with my clients with a solutions-orientated approach which is valuable for the team and the business. For my candidates, I'm able to guide them through the processes and provide clear communication ensuring they have the best opportunities.

Reserving Actuary - Reinsurance 

A re(insurer) is looking to hire a Reserving Actuary to join their team in London. This will focus on reinsurance reserving. In this role you will report into the Lead Actuary. You will be involved in SII TPs, quarterly reserving activity, undertaking deep dive analysis into areas of interest, and providing effective input into the business planning process alongside other activity.This is a highly collaborative team to join in the business. They are keen for the role holder to take ownership of their processes.For this role they want to speak to FIA Qualified Actuaries who have reserving experience. They are open to both personal lines and Lloyd's/London Market backgrounds. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively and be experienced users of Excel, VBA and SQL.
