A growing and innovative pensions consultancy looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join its expanding actuarial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career actuary to gain broad exposure across pensions consulting, actuarial modelling and client advisory work while working closely with experienced consultants and senior leaders.
About the Role
- Support the delivery of actuarial advice to pension schemes, trustees and sponsoring employers
- Perform actuarial calculations, modelling and data analysis
- Draft client reports, presentations and recommendations
- Attend client meetings and develop consulting skills
- Assess the impact of legislative, demographic and market changes on pension schemes
- Contribute to internal projects and process improvements
About You
- Strong academic background with a degree in a numerate subject
- Experience within pensions or actuarial work is advantageous
- Understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proactive, curious and eager to develop professionally
