Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capital Modelling Analyst to join a specialist risk and capital team within a leading global insurer. This role offers the opportunity to support the end-to-end capital modelling process, working closely with actuarial, risk, and modelling professionals to ensure robust analysis, high-quality data, and effective model governance.

As a Capital Modelling Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and validating data used within capital models, supporting model updates and production runs, analysing results and key movements, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of modelling processes. You will also work alongside parameterisation specialists to assess model assumptions and help maintain governance documentation and controls that support regulatory and business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a quantitative or STEM-related discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or Data Science. You will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in insurance, risk, modelling, or financial analytics. Advanced Excel skills are expected, while experience with programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or Julia would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in capital modelling within a supportive and technically strong environment. You will gain exposure to sophisticated modelling techniques, work closely with experienced specialists, and play a meaningful role in informing key business and risk management decisions, while building a highly sought-after skill set within the insurance industry. Ideally you will have at least one year of experience in actuarial.
