Natural Catastrophe Analyst

Nat Cat Analyst | London | Permanent

A new role has come on to the desk with a global (re)insurer, joining their Group Risk team in London.

You will run group-level roll-ups across insurance, reinsurance and ceded re, and turn the results into clear insight for risk managers and senior leaders. There is a real focus on improving tools and automating workflows, plus the chance to get involved in model validation, new model adoption and nat cat research.

What I am looking for:
- Experience in exposure management or nat cat analytics, ideally across multiple lines
- Strong SQL and Excel, with Python, Power BI or Julia a plus
- Hands-on RMS RiskLink experience
- CSCR, CCRA or CEEM certification would be great, but not essential

It is a great chance to help shape and build out the analytics capability within a growing team.
