Head of Commercial Pricing

Location: Hybrid East Coast.

Senior actuarial leadership opportunity with a leading insurer.

We’re partnering on a confidential search for a senior actuary to lead an important pricing team. The role has broad responsibility across pricing strategy, portfolio performance, and people leadership, with regular exposure to senior business leaders.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing an established actuarial team

• Owning pricing strategy across a sizeable commercial portfolio

• Reviewing performance, profitability, and rate adequacy

• Improving models, tools, and overall pricing capability

• Working closely with underwriting, finance, and risk teams

• Supporting growth plans, new products, and business priorities

Ideal background:

• Deep commercial lines pricing experience within P&C

• Previous leadership experience, either managing teams or leading major projects

• Commercial mindset with solid technical credibility

• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders across the business

• ACAS / FCAS preferred
