Underwriter – Financial Lines (Delegated Authority)

Eames are working with a leading global insurer on the hire of an Underwriter within their Specialty Lines division, focused on delegated authority business across financial lines.

The team writes an international portfolio with a strong mix of PI, D&O and broader FINPRO risks, partnering closely with brokers and coverholders. The role will involve underwriting and developing a profitable delegated book, alongside monitoring performance and working across claims and wider underwriting teams.

It’s a broad position with a good balance of hands-on underwriting, portfolio oversight and broker engagement, with scope to take on increasing ownership over time.

They are looking to speak with underwriters with financial lines experience, ideally with some exposure to delegated/binder business or an interest in moving into that space.
