I&rsquo;m a senior principal consultant on the actuarial team in London. I specialise in actuarial and data science focusing primarily on personal and commercial lines, supporting the London and Lloyd&rsquo;s market.
I work with a range of clients from small start-ups to some of the largest insurers in the UK. I also additionally support clients within the insurtech space.
Some key areas of my role include understanding my candidates' next career steps and meshing them with a role and organisation suited for their skill set. Taking a consultative approach to my work, I provide both my candidates and clients with market updates including the supply of talent, salary benchmarking and motivations for movements in the market.
Going that extra mile is what I enjoy. I take pride in my work in supporting businesses and my candidates' next career steps, but I&rsquo;m also invested in building strong relationships outside of just a transactional approach and delivering a service that can add further support.​

We're recruiting for a&nbsp;Senior Development Underwriter to lead regional growth, combining strategic broker partnership management, new business development through tactical trading, and technical underwriting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:

<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Plan and conduct broker performance reviews and training sessions to drive commercial lines growth, building a strong pipeline of prospects and using tactical trading strategies to support broker competitiveness</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Promote commercial lines products across the Regional Branch, the Regional eTrade, and SME-aligned schemes, maintaining front-of-mind presence with brokers through regular contact and relationship management</li>

Qualifications:

<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proven broker relationship management skills with the ability to promote propositions, influence positive outcomes, and operate independently while contributing to team-level goals</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Dip CII qualification or actively working towards it, with a decisive, commercially focused underwriting approach backed by excellent communication skills and both technical and soft skills coaching ability</li>
