Head of Capital

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Capital team, including multiple direct reports.
• Lead regulatory capital submissions and engagement with key stakeholders.
• Provide strategic insight on capital optimisation, reinsurance and business planning.
• Support M&A, growth initiatives and major strategic projects from a capital perspective.
• Present capital positions and recommendations to executive committees and boards.
• Develop strong relationships across Risk, Finance, Actuarial and Underwriting functions.

Requirements

• Qualified Actuary with extensive capital experience.
• Significant experience within insurance capital modelling and capital management.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and solvency frameworks.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executive decision making.
• Commercially minded with strong strategic thinking capabilities.
