Portfolio Management Actuary

It's a genuinely commercial seat with real influence: you'll own the numbers that go into the business plan and have a direct say in where the portfolio goes next. The team want someone who can cut through the analysis, make a clear recommendation and back it up with underwriters and senior management.

The role

• Business planning: setting plan loss ratios and owning inflation assumptions across actuarial
• Managing inputs to the Lloyd's planning cycle and its deadlines
• Portfolio management: reviewing performance, challenging underwriting assumptions and steering profitability
• Turning the numbers into a decisive view and influencing the outcome

What they're looking for

• A pricing or reserving background
• Lloyd's experience preferred
• Commercially-minded
• FIA, with post-qualification experience
