Pride: Being proud of who you are matters

Recruitment is and always will be a people business and that’s why creating a diverse, inclusive and collaborative environment has always been of high importance to me since I founded Eames back in 2002.

As such, we are proud to be supporting London Pride 2018.

Since 1972, Pride in London has done a fantastic job in supporting the LGBT+ community and providing them with a platform to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow them to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing.

At Eames, we are strong advocates of fostering a culture free from discrimination or judgement, whereby our employees can feel comfortable being themselves and feel proud of the company they work for, and most importantly their identity.

Not only has this ethos liberated our staff to achieve their full potential but diversity and inclusion (D&I) has also been key to Eames’ continued success by creating a more cohesive and empowered workforce that are all aligned to a common goal.

I truly believe that talent can be found be anywhere and has no bounds when it comes to sexuality, race or gender and that is why we welcome people from all walks of life with a passion for recruitment to join us on our journey.

By supporting and raising awareness through initiatives such as Pride, we can move further toward improving D&I across all industries and creating equal opportunities for all.

To all marching in the parade and celebrating this weekend, I wish you a great Pride 2018.
