RFIB appoints EVP of RFIB Americas

RFIB Group Limited, the international Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker, today announces the appointment of Craig Douglas as an Executive Vice President of RFIB Americas. He takes up his position with immediate effect reporting to Nick Foden-Pattinson and will be based in the Bermuda office. 

Douglas brings with him 22 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance market to RFIB. He joins from JLT Specialty Bermuda, where he served as a Partner advising on Excess Casualty and Life Science business. Douglas began his insurance and reinsurance career in 1996 at Heath Lambert, before holding a series of insurance and reinsurance broking positions, including those at Willis and Miller. 

Foden-Pattinson said: “We are delighted to have Craig join RFIB and expand our Bermuda presence further. We have seen increasing interest in this market from our clients and are keen to expand with people of Craig’s reputation and talent to assist with developing our Americas business further. I am very pleased to welcome him to RFIB.” 

Douglas said: “I am delighted to be joining RFIB Americas a truly independent customer focussed brokerage with a strong heritage in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. The US market has huge potential for growth which can be fully explored understanding client’s needs, tailoring products and supporting new innovations.
