Willis Re names Kirsten van Exel as executive director

Willis Re, the specialist reinsurance division of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has announced that Kirsten van Exel will join its Dutch team as executive director, effective 15 July 2020.

Based in Willis Re’s Dutch office, Exel will report to Gerrit van Emst, managing director for the Netherlands and will form part of the integrated reinsurance clients team for the Dutch market.

Exel is a qualified actuary and brings more than 2 decades of experience in (re)insurance. She joins from AEGON where she most recently served as senior ILS underwriter and prior to that she was a senior reinsurance actuary at NN Re.
