AXA XL adds David Watson as senior underwriter PRCB, UK & Lloyd’s

AXA XL, the subsidiary of global (re)insurance company AXA, has appointed David Watson as senior underwriter, political risk, credit & bond (PRCB), UK & Lloyd’s market, effective immediately.

In his new role, Watson is responsible for helping to deliver the strategic and profitable growth of the company’s PRCB book in the UK as well as establishing and developing relationships with key brokers and clients in the market.

Watson joins the firm from AXA where he started his insurance career in the terrorism and political violence team in 2013. Later, he was promoted to senior underwriter and joined the capital risks solutions team in 2017.
