Looking at the last year for change management in insurance 

What’s been happening in change and transformation in the insurance and reinsurance market over the last year? How are compensation packages looking? What are people’s reasons for moving? Our change and transformation team recently spoke to over 100 mid-to-senior level change management professionals from our network to get a picture of the sector over the last year. 

What’s important to change management professionals? 

Hybrid working suits over half of our respondents, with 56.1% going into the office for two to three days a week, and 57.1% giving flexible working as their biggest priority when making a move. However, there are still a fair number who are fully remote. What else is important to change management professionals, and what do insurers need to do to attract the right talent? 

Change professionals reluctant to change 

With 77.1% of permanent employees feeling they’re paid fairly for their role and responsibilities, and 54.3% requiring a salary uplift of 11-20% when making a move, there’s been a slowdown in permanent recruitment. For insurers looking to hire change and transformation experts, could contract be the answer?
