I'm working with a Global MNC Composite Insurer with an excellent brand name looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Life Insurance business. This role will be looking after the Finance Operations, with a particular focus on AP AR and some month end closing. The ideal candidate will be joining a company with a strong corporate culture emphasising a healthy work environment with a great work life balance and a cooperative team of 4 people, 1 of which will be reporting into the chosen. English and Cantonese necessary, with Mandarin an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Insurance receipts and payments for the Life business
- Month end closing
- Processing balance sheet and banking reconciliations, receivables, suspense accounting and unreconciled items
- Organising bank documentation
- Enhancing the efficiency of procedures and systems
- Aiding year-end audit schedules
Requirements:
- A degree in Accountancy or Finance or related discipline
- CPA qualified an advantage
- 8 years’ experience within insurance
- Managerial experience preferable
- Independent worker with excellent organisational ability
- Good English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal
- AS400 and SAP knowledge is an advantage
