As an Assistant Reserving Actuary, your role will be pivotal in performing quarterly reserving and trust fund valuations for a variety of business classes including Specialty Risks, Cyber Risks, Property and much more. You'll collaborate closely with various teams such as Finance, Data Management, and Ceded Reinsurance, and play a key role in the reconciliation and production of data for valuation processes.
Reporting is an important part of this role. You'll contribute to the reporting of actuarial valuations to stakeholders and committees, working closely with the reserving actuaries on the calculation and communication of reserve uncertainty and ranges.
