My client is a market leading global insurance business in search for strong accounting professionals to join their financial reporting team. Your duties will cover predominantly Investment accounting. Candidates are required to be fluent in Cantonese (Spoken and Written) for this role. Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Senior Associate level
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial and management reports
- Complete journal entry for month-end closing
- Assist with US GAAP financial closing, which include expenses allocation and DAC calculation
- Assist with daily operations to include: fund price valuation, fund order placement and settlements
- Investment operations and investment month-end closing
- Perform financial analysis and account reconiciliation
- Ad-hoc projects and UAT testing
Requirements
- Degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance etc)
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, ACCA etc)
- 4+ Years of experience in either: Financial Reporting or Fund Accounting in relevant industry
- Strong IT skills: MS Excel, Access
- Experience with SUN accounting will be highly desireable
- Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
