Job Description

The position will formulate agency digital strategy to achieve assigned goals by enhancing agent journey via digital innovation, data and technology adoption. Formulate digital innovation strategy and roadmaps to uplift productivity, operation efficiency, training efficiency, quality recruitment etc.

​Roles and Responsibilities:

Agency Digital Transformation

  • Formulate digital innovation strategy in driving productivity, quality recruitment, uplifting training efficiency and improve operation efficiency

  • Drive cutting edge technology innovation and adopt state-of-the-art AI technology to deliver seamless agent digital experience to drive productivity and deepen agency engagement

  • Drive change management via development & knowledge build-up of the team for the application of new digital technology.

  • Formulate, drive and industrialize Digital Agent Engagement strategies applicable in maximizing agent productivity and agent retention

  • Lead creative and business ideation discussion and oversees and manage the agent-facing portal environment leveraging deep knowledge of user experience design and best practices as well as emerging trends in technology and digital design and functionality

  • Advise the team in developing strategic plan to uplift the number of users in core agency digital platforms

  • Lead the team and ensure strong collaboration with internal & external stakeholders and Project Manager (Strategy Planning) to ensure agency requirements are implemented/ delivered.

Data & Technology Adoption

  • Source, scale and implement new technology and digital capabilities through partnership with insurance technology partners

  • Understand agent behaviour & monitor movements of key agent’s segments thru big data, providing business insights and recommendation that are relevant in relation to agent strategy and behaviours

  • Enable the dialogue about the value and meaning of the analytic insights, and making it easy for business stakeholders and senior management to apply data-driving decisions across the business

  • Contribute ideas on enriching the agent data.

Job Requirements:

  • University / College Graduate with minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in the insurance industry and of which 5 years at managerial capacity

  • Knowledge in execution & project implementation an advantage

  • Outgoing with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Extensive IT and Digital apps development knowledge

  • Demonstrated depth of UX experience and creativity.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Strong project management skills, self-motivated and willing to meet challenges.

  • Articulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Adaptable, able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.

  • Proven successful experience in managing digital transformation team for driving digital innovation projects and a strong understanding of different digital systems and tools plus technical and business know-how.
