Job Description

My client is a fast growing international reinsurance business headquartered in Hong Kong who is in search for experienced tax professionals. You will be responsible for all tax matters for Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Hong Kong tax regulations. Knowledge of regional tax regulations will be a plus. Candidates with tax experience from insurance/reinsurance will also be a plus. We are open to candidates from the consulting firms also.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle all tax matters of the Group
  • Assess impact and develop tax solutions in view of changes in tax and accounting regulations globally
  • Review tax position of Group
  • Ensure Group compliance to regulations
  • Support preparation of income tax computation and returns
  • Other Tax adminitrative duties
  • Collaborate cross functionally with departments
  • Handle tax authority enquiries

Requirements

  • Degree holder in relevant discipline
  • 5+ Years (AVP) or 8+ Years (VP) of relevantg experinece, preferable in the insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong tax regulations
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations will be a plus
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin + Cantonese)
