The Middle Office Technology Team supports trade processing, position keeping, and trade management systems. The team partners with middle office/regulatory reporting business users to customize and implement solutions to support trade processing scale and stability.
Responsibilities:
Define requirements for OTC derivatives reporting changes mandated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore
Analyze business requirements and translate into implementation specifications, including enhancement requests, large-scale projects, and system redesigns
Work with business users and development teams to define clear and testable acceptance criteria
Document existing and proposed data and process flows
Assist in the creation of quality assurance testing plans and serve as a business user surrogate in UAT testing efforts as needed
Work with the team lead to organize, maintain, and track capacities, velocities, statuses, and deliverables
Serve as scrum master for the development team
Requirements:
5+ years of business analysis experience in the financial industry
Knowledge of financial products including fixed income, credit, equities, and derivatives
Familiarity with post-execution trade flows, settlement and confirmation workflows, profit and loss calculations, as well as systems supporting those processes
Solid technical background and fluency in the software development life cycle and SDLC tools (JIRA)
Experience creating data flow diagrams, business requirements documents, quality assurance plans, and data conversion / deployment plans
Experience with SQL Server and other data warehouse technologies, as well as data analysis
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Experience holding scrum meetings, tracking team capacity and velocity, and forecasting completion
Knowledge of regulatory reporting regimes (e.g. MAS, MiFID II) including OTC Derivatives Reporting
Basic programming experience/ability to read application code
