A leading insurance brokerage firm is looking for a Business Application Support Analyst to join their team based in Chelmsford, Essex.

The successful candidate will provide 1st/2nd line processing and technical support for business application users. Therefore, you will be a key member of the team enabling colleagues to focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for queries regarding the firm's Insurance system, providing technical phone and email support.
  • Proactively dealing with user issues.
  • Escalate all unresolved issues and arrange for external technical support where the issue cannot be resolved in house.
  • Log all calls on a ticketing system and monitoring tickets to identify patterns or trends with the aim of reducing issues and reducing customer complaints.

Skills & experience required:

  • Experience working within a Service Desk/Technical Help Desk capacity.
  • Understanding of the general principles of Insurance Broking.
  • Solid knowledge across IT support concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
