Job Description

A leading international bank is seeking an experienced regulatory reporting controller to join their London desk. This role has been created through internal mobility and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate in finance to expand their project skills within a regulatory reporting role.

Main duties:

  • Preparation and distribution of the daily and monthly calculation of regulatory capital  and the preparation and submission of the quarterly regulatory returns to the PRA, including COREP, for key UK regulated entities
  • Support the preparation of external and internal requests in respect of regulatory information
  • Assist in the production of analysis on new, significant and unusual transactions to ensure potential capital implications are understood
  • Conduct research on regulatory requirements, assist in the preparation of capital impact analysis and presentation on proposed and upcoming regulatory rule reforms and contribute to ongoing rule change implementation.
  • Participate in assignments to identify and implement improvements to the process and control framework within which the group operates.
  • Work with the team to design and develop tools to facilitate capital analysis and reporting.

Skills required

  • Regulatory reporting experience within capital reporting (COREP)
  • Financial services experience gained within the banking industry.
  • Strong academic background – minimum 2:1 degree from a leading university.
  • Proven experience of identifying and improving processes.
