Catastrophe Analytics Manager (Analytics and R&D Team)- Up to £90,000
A respected Lloyd's syndicate is looking for a Catastrophe Analytics Manger to lead their Analytics and Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful syndicate and lead a team of researchers focused on the latest academic research.
This role will focus on all natural perils and you will involve model validation, development and evaluation along with process improvement for portfolio management and pricing teams. The goal of this role is to ensure the syndicate's existing models are calibrated to the current level of risk and make recommendations on how to improve existing procedures while working closely with the Head of Catastrophe Modelling and Underwriting teams. The successful candidate will have the support of 2-4 researchers and will work alongside the Exposure Management team to insure all processes are as streamlined as possible.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Catastrophe Modelling or Research Role within the reinsurance industry and educated to a Masters or PhD level (or equivalent).
