Eames are working on an exciting opportunity with a well known Lloyd's syndicate who are looking to hire a Claims Adjuster to join their team in Nottingham.
This is a great opportunity to join a reputable insurer, in particular for more junior candidates with 1-3 years of experience within Claims, looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling claims in line with authority limits as well as adhering to organisational referral procedures.
- Responsibilities also include identifying when specialists are needed to investigate claims, following organisational policies and procedures when appointing these.
- The role further includes the identification of potential non-disclosures or misrepresentations with the application of relevant legal principles in the investigation of them.
- Further responsibilities include the identification of where reinsurance is in force for particular claims as well as complying with reinsurance notification procedures.
Skills/Knowledge required:
- Claims background with a few years of experience within the insurance market
- An understanding of the recovery process as well as subrogation rights
- MS Office proficient including Word and Excel
Qualifications:
Cert CII classification is essential
