A leading foreign bank is looking to bring onboard a Production Support Engineer to join their Corporate Bank Production domain. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements within the environment via functions such as automation, monitoring and BAU activities.
Key Responsibilties
- Manage and support incidents and problems within the production environment
- Engage in SDLC to enhance production standards
- Take initiative for automation of manual work, improvements to monitoring standards, ensure platform hygiene
- Work closely with operations and business users and establish necessary communications if required
- Event monitoring and updating of RUN Book and KEDB
Key Requirements
- More than 8 years of experience as a Production Support Engineer with background in large production environments or financial services/banking domains
- Hands-on with scripting for automation (UNIX/Power Shell, Python, PERL, Github, JAVA, .NET)
- Hands-on with Kafka (real-time stream processing solutions) and Kubernetes (containerization)
- Good SQL knowledge - ability to write and optimize queries
