Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our cybersecurity platform. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving platform-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhancements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with the cybersecurity platform, including troubleshooting and resolution of software, hardware, and network-related issues.
Collaborate with internal teams, including software developers and cybersecurity experts, to identify and address platform deficiencies, bugs, and vulnerabilities.
Assist in the implementation and configuration of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Conduct periodic system audits and performance assessments to ensure the cybersecurity platform meets security standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and contribute insights to enhance the platform's effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT industry.
Strong understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, with experience using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools is a plus.
Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP / CISM / CEH will be advantageous
