Data Developer is required for an exciting Hedge Fund that trades in excess of 200 liquid markets covering asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, energy, metals and agricultural commodities. They are looking for a bright database developer (SQL Server & JAVA) to build out their data & analytics function with addition of a data analyst / developer to implement and improve their technology solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Manage and deliver data for the trading models, algorithmic execution systems and other front office systems
- Cleanse and produce derived data sets from raw data sets
- work with / manage the data vendors to investigate new sources of data for business needs
Skills:
- OO Development (Java / C#) with either Python or Matlab
- Database systems and SQL Server
- Linux and Windows environments
- Knowledge of financial instruments / asset classes
