The role:
Create and maintain data pipelines, ingestion, processing and storing of fundamental and pricing data
Work with database administrators to maintain the databases
Develop dashboards for the business
Collaborate with vendors in resolving system issues in a timely manner
The ideal candidate should have:
Relevant depth of experience working in data engineering within a front office banking/trading setup
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (5+ years)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, visualisation tools (tableau/Power BI), AngularJS, REST APIs, TDD and Agile development
A focus on code quality and best practices throughout the development process
The ability to critically assess complex problems and deliver solutions that align with business goals in a timely manner
Initiative and ability to take on new and varied challenges at work
